After the food markets it is time for the stores. Believe it or not but Madrid’s fashion shopping is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Apart from having the best boutiques such as Miu Miu, Prada, Louis Vuitton, YSL, and Dior, there are lots of new and upcoming designers and also small-specialized boutiques and multi-brands.

- Ekseption: sells the best international brands such as Balenciaga, Balmain, Louboutin and Proenza Schouler. The store is really pretty and the merchandise selection is one of the best I have seen. Right beside they have EKS, which sells the more accessible brands such as Marc by Marc, James Perse, Acne and Alexander Wang. Calle Velazquez, 28 - www.ekseption.es

- Yube Madrid: located in a more alternative neighborhood, this store has the best of both worlds. They sell brands such as See by Chloé, Moncler and Paul & Joe, but also have unknown designers such as Patricia Nicolás who makes these amazing skull necklaces. Calle Fernando VI, 23 - www.yubemadrid.com

Vallmai: a really tiny store that has the cutest little things. They sell really romantic clothing as well as accessories and jewelry. I bought this necklace with an owl pendant! Calle Fernando VI, 8 –  www.vallmai.blogspot.com

- Butlers: a German home and décor store full of colorful things for the home. They have everything: from plates to furniture and stuff for your dog.Spotted this cute owl! Calle Hermosilla, 13 - www.butlers-international.de

- La Cabeza Bien Amueblada: a hair salon that sells clothes, decorations and vintage furniture. Calle Pelayo, 72 - www.lacabezabienamueblada.com

- Circo: this jewelry store called my attention because it doesn’t have a door, only windows. So there is a larger window with stairs and that is the entrance. Inside, people having some jewelry making lessons and there were pieces sold in the store. Calle Belén, 3 - www.circojewellery.com

- Unica Shop: this tiny shop sells everything you might need to make a piece of jewelry. Everything from chains, beads, threads and buttons. I love this stuff so you can imagine how amazed I was. Calle Pelayo, 68 - www.unicashop.es

- Baby Deli: even though I do not have a baby (yet!!!) everyone who knows me is aware how crazy I am about kids and baby stuff, so when I passed by this store I flipped!!! It was a baby supermarket, which sold everything from baby food to toys, books, furniture and clothes. Apart from that, they had a bakery/coffee shop and in the back a small theater for kids plays. Simply breathtaking!!! Calle Lagasca, 54 - www.babydeli.com

- Oomuombo: another thing I am obsessed with is candy; so if anyone is like me, do not forget to go to this store. It really is “good sweets for big children”! They have the most yummy candies, yum yum yum!!! Calle Fuencarral, 27 - www.oomuombo.com

- Lomography: everyone who loves photography and cameras is aware of the Lomo and how much fun one can have with their cameras. The store is just as fun as their products. Calle Echegaray, 5 – www.lomography.com

Apart from these stores, here are the addresses to the better-known ones but that are equally important and deserve a visit, at least in my opinion!!!

- Miu Miu: Calle Claudio Coello, 72

- Marc by Marc Jacobs: Calle Marqués de la Enseñada, 2

- Paul & Joe: Calle Claudio Coello, 85

- Sandro: Calle Columela, 2
